Art #1: Sharpshooter.
I promised I would post some art on this blog. So here's my first piece. It's a knife shooting pistol, made by a mechanic who needed a nice gun to shoot some zombies. Yes that's right, zombies!

Blog #1: A new base, a new plan.
Welcome to my new operation base! Ran of all Trades. Since my RanCave caved in, I decided to set up this new place.
However, before I set myself loose I want to do some explaining to avoid misunderstandings. I chose to use the name 'Ran of all Trades' because I will blog about anything I find interesting. I'm not really that good at all trades. Though I hope to excel in drawing one day, that's why I am doing a Game Design study to become a Concept Artist. So besides anything I find interesting, I will also put my art up here.
Alright, now that the explanation is out of the way let's introduce myself.
My name is Joran de Boer, but here I like to call myself Ran. I live in the Netherlands and as I told, I do a Game Design study. At the moment I'm at the end of my second year, next year I will have to do an internship so that's pretty exciting.
In my spare time I like to game, draw or read some books. The games I play the most these days are World of Warcraft and Minecraft.
Speaking of World of Warcraft, today I reached level 85 on my warrior. This is a pretty big thing for me because I usually create a new character when I've reached level 20. So yeah, I'm happy about that!
Now about the books I read. My favourite books are those of the dwarf slayer Gotrek Gurnisson and his companion Felix Jeager. The books are pretty much all the same and are just about Gotrek killing monsters, but that's the fun part! So why care?
As I said before, I also like to draw, but I will tell more about that later.
